Dana M. Shank

Dana Shank is a healthcare transactional and regulatory attorney whose practice focuses primarily on representing Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in connection with a variety of business transactions, including joint ventures and outside affiliations. Dana holds a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford University and received her law degree from Stanford University in 2007. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Before joining the Office of the General Counsel, Dana practiced healthcare law in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins LLP where she advised some of the country’s largest healthcare systems on a wide range of business and legal issues including mergers and acquisitions, federal and state anti-kickback/self-referral laws and privacy and security laws.
